Evan C. Williamson

Evan Williamson is a student at the University of Illinois Chicago pursuing his Masters in Urban Planning and Policy, with a focus on environmental planning and sustainable cities. He has held roles in communications, advocacy, public relations, and nonprofit fundraising. He began his career as a political staffer on Capitol Hill and spent the ensuing seven years working in the nonprofit sector and higher education for Advance CTE, the University of Illinois, and the Ounce of Prevention Fund, before pursuing full time graduate studies this spring. Evan is passionate about strengthening the Chicago region's social impact sector and environmental sustainability, and serves on the board of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Chicago, as well as the Auxiliary Board of the Lincoln Park Zoo.
