Lori Lightfoot was born in Ohio in 1962 and moved to Chicago in 1986. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and her J.D. from the University of Chicago. She worked as Senior Equity Partner at the law firm Mayer Brown LLP in their Litigation and Conflict Resolution Group.
